On the eastern side of the county, the Lawrence Park Fourth of July parade kicked off at 2:00 this afternoon.
Over 100 groups made their way down Main Street to celebrate Independence Day.

Residents gathered together from the surrounding areas of Wesleyville and Harborcreek.
Spencer Cadden, the Lawrence Park Township manager, said this is the best event the township puts on all year long.
