Angola Woman Arrested for Narcotics Possession in Mayville

A Tuesday morning traffic stop in the Village of Mayville led to the seizure of narcotics and the arrest of an Angola woman. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators saw 26-year-old Savannah Dorsey-Carter, who was known to have a suspended license, driving a vehicle on Route 394 in the Town of Chautauqua. The vehicle was later seen in the parking lot of the Dollar General store on West Lake Road. Dorsey-Carter was taken into custody after she exited the store, and a search of the vehicle and her person yielded 47.1 grams of methamphetamine, 8.5 grams of fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.
