The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team is looking into the cause of a midday fire that occurred in the City of Dunkirk’s Fourth Ward on Friday. According to City Fire Chief Nick Barter, crews were called to 116 Bucknor Street just before 12:00 PM and found a shed behind 117 Lord Street on fire that had spread to a detached garage. Barter says his department used multiple hose lines and tools to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported.
