One of the region’s most anticipated summer events returns to the Bayfront as the Tall Ships Erie Festival sets sail August 21 through 24, bringing maritime magic, family fun, and historic vessels to Presque Isle Bay.
The festivities begin Thursday, August 21, with the Parade of Sail, a stunning procession of tall ships entering the harbor under full sail. Beginning at 4:00 PM, the fleet will pass Dobbins Landing and Erie’s shoreline, offering a postcard worthy view and the official kickoff to the weekend.
