11-Year-Old Flips ATV While Reversing at High Speed

ROME TWP, Pa. (EYT) — An 11-year-old boy flipped an ATV while reversing on a road in Rome Township, resulting in a minor injury to his 12-year-old passenger, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Corry.

The crash happened around 2:16 p.m. on August 1 on Pennoyer Road, just south of Whitney Road. Police said the boy was driving a 2020 Kawasaki Mule in reverse at about 16 to 18 miles per hour when he turned the wheel left and then right, causing the vehicle to travel roughly 50 feet before overturning.
