ERIE, PA – It is the dog days of summer as a persistent ridge of high-pressure off the Atlantic coast pumps hot and dry weather into the Lake Erie region on Monday. The above-average temperatures continue through the 1st half of the week, before the heat and humidity ease somewhat by the middle of the week.
There will be a few showers and thundershowers developing late Tuesday into the 1st half of Wednesday, and we badly need rain.
