Wind turbine blades arrive in Erie on ship

A massive sight made its presence known on Erie’s bayfront on Sunday, letting everyone get a glimpse.

A ship from Dubai came to Erie around 2:00 p.m., holding about 48 Vestas wind turbine blades.

The ship started its voyage on July 3 from India and crossed over to the North Atlantic Ocean and the St. Lawrence Seaway before docking in Erie.
