(WJET/WFXP) – While Erie County recently saw a tenth mosquito sample test positive for West Nile virus, another local county is also seeing an uptick in its numbers.
On Tuesday, August 12, the Mercer County Conservation District announced that another mosquito sample, collected in the borough of Mercer, has tested positive for West Nile virus.
This marks the fourth mosquito to test positive for the virus in 2025…
