Jamestown man to serve 20 years for attempting to murder librarian

(WJET/WFXP) – A Jamestown man will serve a two-decade prison sentence after attempting to murder a librarian in 2022.

On Tuesday, August 19, the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office released a statement stating that 23-year-old Xavier Guadarrama was sentenced to serve a term of 20 years in state prison for an incident that occurred in August of 2022, along with an additional seven years for an incident that occurred in September of 2023.
