CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sunshine will dominate most of Sunday across northern Ohio, making for a near-perfect late August day to enjoy Lake Erie or area parks. Highs will reach the low to mid-80s from Cleveland to Canton, with slightly cooler readings near the Pennsylvania border.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, skies will range from mostly sunny to partly cloudy with southwest winds on Lake Erie at 5 to 10 knots. Waves are expected around 1 to 2 feet, creating favorable marine conditions for boaters and swimmers.
Communities across the I-71 corridor, including Mansfield, Akron, and Marion, will see highs near 83 degrees. Farther east, Youngstown may top out at 86, while Erie, Pennsylvania, will be closer to 80 under partly cloudy skies…
