Final preparations underway before German Heritage Festival begins

The tents are up and the stage is set for another cultural celebration coming to Erie this weekend.

The 29th annual German Heritage Festival starts tomorrow at St. Nick’s Grove on Old French Road and will continue through Sunday.

Tickets for Erie Zoo’s Lions, Tigers & Beers event on sale now

Festival admission is just $5 a person or $8 for a two-day pass, and children twelve and under can enter for free.

The event will feature German music, dancing, beer, food and even a petting zoo, and a festival co-chair said it’s not something you want to miss.

Rainy weather doesn’t stop the fun at the Erie County Fair

“It’s such a family-friendly event. We have people who have been coming for years, and now they’re bringing their grandchildren, their kids are here, their grandchildren are here, they stay the whole day, so it’s not a come in and get out because there’s dancing, entertainment.
