The traffic pattern for Old Glenwood Park Avenue in Millcreek Township is scheduled to change at the beginning of next week.
700 feet of the eastern portion of the road will be converted to one-way westbound traffic only.

The township has installed a newly constructed cul-de-sac so that eastbound traffic can turn around.
Matthew Waldinger, the director of planning and development, said that this is a short-term safety improvement before a larger project potentially takes place. He said that this is the ideal spot for a roundabout.

“In order to construct that, that would be a PennDOT project and take major financing,” Waldinger said. “We’ve been working with PennDOT to try and get that in their Transportation Improvement Program and get those funds planned for for a future project, but this is what we’re able to do now to try and improve safety until a bigger project can be done.”…
