Erie man accused of shaking three-month-old waives preliminary hearing

The preliminary hearing for a father accused of allegedly shaking his child so hard his heart stopped was waived in court on Monday.

Gregory Aubrey, 22, allegedly shook his 3-month-old child so hard last month that he stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest.

Infant in critical but stable condition after alleged shaking incident involving father

The child was initially taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment, but was flown to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for additional treatment after he was resuscitated.

Aubrey later admitted to shaking his baby because he didn’t want to hear him crying, and waited nearly three hours before taking him to the hospital…
