Robert Irvine to host annual Hero Days event Thursday

A celebrity chef is returning to Erie for a third year in a row, putting on a show to honor and raise money for first responders and veterans.

Celebrity chef and philanthropist Robert Irvine will be hosting his Hero Days event at Liberty Park Thursday night, featuring a free concert from the band O.A.R.

Irvine said the concert is a way to give back and say thanks to first responders, veterans and fallen heroes.

As for why he hosts his concert in Erie, Irvine said it’s because of our region’s interest and success in our veteran and youth communities.
