Nelson-Jameson cuts ribbon on new distribution center in Fairview Township

Fairview Township has some new neighbors in town, as a nationwide food processing distributor cuts the ribbon on a new 45-thousand square foot facility.Nelson-Jameson specializes in supplying food, dairy and beverage products to processing plants, and now they’re bringing those skills to Erie.

“It’s absolutely exciting. I think that being part of the company and seeing the want to make sure that not only we’re growing, but we’re doing it in the right ways. It’s something that’s been really great to be part of,” said Mat Bartkowiak, Nelson-Jameson Vice President of Corporate Responsibility.

The new distribution center will hire up to 20 full-time employees and put the food distributor closer to their customers and partners in the northeastern part of the country.
