Erie fire crews responded to a house fire on Erie’s east side Wednesday afternoon.
Those calls came in shortly before 3 p.m.

According to the Erie Fire Department’s Deputy Chief Jeff Carroll, when crews arrived at 2111 Wallace Street, they were met by heavy smoke coming from the attic of the two-story structure.
