Erie County and community members came together Thursday morning on the 24th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.

Crews battle fire on Erie’s east side
The Erie County 9/11 memorial ceremony took place at the Blasco Memorial Library inside the H.O. Hirt auditorium.
The ceremony consisted of a moment of silence, posting and retiring of the colors, and acknowledging first responders who serve in Erie, along with those who lost loved ones in the attack.
