Erie’s Pony Express on West 8th Street has served the community for nearly 40 years, and the local shipping company will be continuing that streak amid some challenging times.
Back in June, the United States Postal Service (USPS) told the business they would be terminating their contract, giving them until September 30th to cease USPS-related operations.
“It was quite a shock, quite a large disappointment,” said David Grab, Pony Express Owner. “For them to treat us this way and feel that the invaluable service we provided for them on their behalf isn’t worth keeping is very inconvenient for the Erie community.”…
