SCRANTON, Pa. (WOLF) — The former Fairview Township tax collector has pleaded guilty to embezzling public funds, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
46-year-old Karen McGinnis of Mountain Top entered her plea before United States District Judge Karoline Mehalchick after being charged by criminal information on September 8.
