One local walk beat its fundraising goal over the weekend.
Erie’s edition of the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s took place on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Perry Square, with over 700 people attending. The walk raised over $206,000, beating the goal of $200,000.

Family Tradition was the team that raised the most money, with over $9,800.
Amber Beason, development director of the Alzheimer’s Association, said that the funds raised will be used for research and to support those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
