Jamestown Man Arrested Following Major Narcotics Search Warrant Execution

(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A months-long narcotics investigation in Chautauqua County led to the arrest of a Jamestown man after investigators seized large quantities of cocaine, cash, and drug paraphernalia during a search warrant execution.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 8:35 a.m., narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and Dunkirk Police Department executed a search warrant at 610 Monroe Street in Jamestown.

During the operation, investigators located David E. Brown III, 34, of Jamestown. The search resulted in the seizure of 643 grams of cocaine, 40.4 grams of crack cocaine, scales, packaging materials used for drug distribution, and $27,371 in U.S. currency.

Brown was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree. He was transported for arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Authorities say the arrest is the result of a seven-month investigation into narcotics activity within the city. Law enforcement officials emphasized that community cooperation remains an important tool in ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug distribution…
