OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — As deer become more active this fall, state officials are urging drivers to be alert, citing a five-year high in deer-related crashes across Pennsylvania.
According to data from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the number of crashes involving deer has increased since 2020. Last year, a total of 6,426 such crashes were reported statewide.
