Erie County Council voted 5-2 to pass a resolution addressing the death of Marchello Woodard, committing to pursue funding for body cameras for county law enforcement.
The resolution, passed on Tuesday night, formally recognizes the tragic circumstances surrounding Woodard’s death and sends condolences to his family. It also includes a commitment to review policies and procedures of county law enforcement agencies.
