Nonprofit founder Avery Chauncey passes away after cancer battle

A young woman who began her own nonprofit organization to help feed pets has unfortunately lost her battle to cancer.

Avery Chauncey’s loved ones announced in a social media post that she passed peacefully, surrounded by so much love.

Within the five and a half years she fought cancer, Chauncey founded Avery’s Pawsitive Change, which created pet food pantries to help feed over a thousand pets a month.
