‘We need this in this town’ – Albion Marketplace reopens with new look

Marc Corbin’s family owned the Albion Shurfine on East State Street for generations, but earlier this year, the borough’s only grocery store was forced to shut its doors.

But Corbin’s love for his small-town community led him to take on the challenge of running the family business, turning the shurfine into the “Albion Marketplace.”

“It was something that I wanted to continue on and grow and expand it and give back to the community for what they have given to us,” said Marc Corbin, Albion Marketplace business partner.
