Hanover Man Charged with Unauthorized Use of Vehicle Following Traffic Stop

(WNY News Now) – Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hanover man Friday afternoon after determining he was operating a vehicle without the owner’s permission.

HANOVER, N.Y. — On October 17, 2025, at approximately 1:03 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Bradley Road in the Town of Hanover. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Adam N. Mox of Hanover, was found to be operating a vehicle without authorization from the registered owner.

Following an investigation, Mox was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor under New York State law. Deputies issued Mox traffic tickets and transported him to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment…
