(WJET/WFXP)– Power has been restored to a majority of Erie County after outage reports popped up all around the county at the start of Wednesday evening, at one point leaving more than 7,200 households in the dark.
According to Penelec’s Live Outage Map, 1,336 outages remain as of 7:16 pm, mostly in West County, with the expectation of power being restored around 8:30 pm.
