(WJET/WFXP)– Police in Chautauqua County announced they made a sizable drug bust at a Jamestown, NY, home, seizing more than 7 lbs of methamphetamine.
Members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown police carried out a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of Barrett Ave, where they allegedly found the drugs and one person inside.

In total, deputies said they seized 7.7 pounds of meth, 5.5 grams of fentanyl, $1,198 in cash, along with scales and packaging materials.
The person police said was inside the home at the time, 37-year-old Cassandra Chadwick of Jamestown, was taken into custody for second and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
She’s since been booked into the Chautauqua County Jail and is waiting to be arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court…
