expERIEnce Children’s Museum accepting food and toy donations

(WJET/WFXP) – A local museum is holding a drive to benefit the community.

The expERIEnce Children’s Museum is hosting its Food and Toy Drive, going on now through Monday, Dec. 15.

A Pumpkin Smashing Weekend at Port Farms

Donors can give non-perishable food items, like canned soup, peanut butter or cereal, as well as new toys, like art supplies and action figures. They will receive an admission pass to the museum for every five food items or five new toys donated.

Donations benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank, which distributes food, and Taradoodles Toy Box of Erie, which distributes gifts to children.
