ERIE, PA – After a mainly dry morning, with limited sunshine, things will be changing as yet another fast-moving storm arrives through the day. Expect rain showers by midday into early afternoon as a cold front approaches. In addition to the rain showers, gusty winds between 35 and 40 mph are likely.
As for the weekend, it won’t be perfect. We should have mainly dry weather and chilly air on Saturday, and winds will be calmer, too. Another storm swings through on Sunday, with off and on-again light, occasional rain showers. Temperatures will plunge by Sunday evening and night in the wake of a strong cold front. Expect rain showers to mix with and change to wet snow showers by Sunday night.
