Motorists are seeing, on average, higher prices at the gas pump from last week, but still lower than they were a year ago. That’s according to AAA, which reports that Monday’s national average price per gallon is $3.07, which is up by more than three cents. In New York State, the average has climbed nearly two cents per gallon to $3.12. And Chautauqua County saw its average rise by over four cents to $3.30. One year ago, the national and statewide averages were $3.09 and $3.17, respectively.
