Child fatally struck by school bus in Jamestown, NY

(WJET/WFXP)– Police in Chautauqua County are investigating after a child was fatally struck by a school bus Monday morning in the City of Jamestown.

Jamestown police said calls for that crash went out around 8:08 a.m. on November 17 at the intersection of Cole and Whitehill Avenue on the city’s south side, where a 4-year-old girl was struck by a Panama Central School District bus.

The child was taken to UPMC Chautauqua, where police said she ultimately succumbed to her injuries…
