Four years ago, Mary Coulter adopted her beloved cat from the ANNA Shelter and named her Harley, and Wednesday, she cried out for help to save Harley’s life.
Two weeks ago, Harley swallowed a needle when Coulter’s husband was sewing. Harley tried to play with the thread and ended up swallowing the needle whole.

Immediately, they tried to get medical help but quickly realized that there are limited vet clinics that perform endoscopies and that it will cost over $4,000 upfront for Harley to receive one.
“We don’t have it, and they want all of it, not just half of it, and I don’t understand, but it’s okay, you know, I understand that they need their money because it’s $20,000 for a scope,” Coulter said. “She went to jump down and I think that’s how the thread came out, but the needle went down her throat, so it’s embedded in her esophagus.”
