The owners of the Pony Express on West 8th Street have done all they could to keep their business open after the United States Postal Service announced they would terminate their contract back in June.
David Grab and his wife were set to sell their store to a new owner under a new arrangement with the supplier ‘PostNet,’ but at the end of September, the postal service came to their store to clear out anything with the USPS name on it.
Now, the Pony Express is forced to close after nearly 40 years of service…
