(WJET/WFXP) – The Erie County District Attorney’s office is reminding residents that the sheriff’s office will never reach out asking for money or any type of payment, including gift cards or cryptocurrency.
This comes after reports of people receiving phone calls saying that they must pay money to resolve a warrant for missing jury duty.
