(WJET/WFXP) – An Erie man is facing up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to violating federal narcotics laws.
Shawn Geer, 49, pleaded guilty before United States District Judge Stephanie L. Haines to possessing and distributing methamphetamine.

Geer was accused of possessing 50 grams or more of a mixture of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute in July 2023 and was indicted in April 2024.
He faces up to 40 years in prison, a fine of up to $5 million, or both, with the actual sentence being based on the severity of the offense and any prior criminal history. Sentencing is set for March 24, 2026…
