As the director of Erie County government’s Department of Information Technology, Jeffrey Cudicio is responsible for overseeing staff, setting policy for the use of computers and making sure the equipment is running properly.
Cudicio is under criminal investigation over allegations that he and some of his employees stole county-owned computer components — and that he had an unwritten policy in which he permitted the thefts to occur.
