(WJET/WFXP) – A local parish has begun the refund process for a car raffle that took place under suspicious circumstances.
St. Jude the Apostle Parish is refunding tickets for its 2024 Winavette Car Raffle, which resulted in a potentially fake winner.

Due to Pennsylvania’s Small Games of Chance law, the parish cannot redo the raffle and is issuing refunds instead, with the help of the accounting firm HBK.
Those who purchased tickets for the raffle can call 888-341-6210 or 814-217-8901 and leave their information, including proof of ticket purchase. They can also send an email to [email protected].
