(WJET/WFXP)– Pennsylvania State Police are asking the public’s help in identifying the person they believe may be behind a $16,000 theft from a local bank account.
Troopers from PSP Erie said they were first alerted to the theft on July 23 after the victim found $16,000 missing from their account.

Police said they believe the woman pictured below used the victim’s name, account number and passport card to steal the funds at the 26th Street Northwest Bank in Erie.
