Roof repair plan at Erie’s Miller Bros. site could see funding switch

Badly-needed repairs to the roof of the city of Erie-owned Miller Bros. Power Equipment property near 21st and State streets are now expected to cost significantly less than initial projections.

That is one reason why Erie City Council is poised to free up more than $750,000 in capital improvement funding as the seven-member panel deliberates Mayor Joe Schember’s $110.1 million city budget proposal for 2026.
