PennDOT reduces speed on two interstate routes

Pennsylvania (WKBN)- In preparation for the oncoming winter weather, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has temporarily reduced the speed of Interstate 79 and 80.

PennDOT is asking that motorists avoid unnecessary travel, but for those traveling, the speed limit will be reduced.

Interstate 79 from Exit 105 in Butler County to Exit 166 in Erie County, as well as Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 73 in Jefferson County, will be reduced to 45 mph…
