It was an intense year for dining spots in the Erie region. Several high-profile openings kept me hopping and I mourned the loss of some of the region’s favorites.
For example, it’s hard to find a restaurant story bigger than the opening of Serafini’s Trattoria in September, but the last-minute addition of Falcone’s to the Copperleaf portfolio last week gives it a run for its money. And I don’t know what I’m going to do without the risotto from the former Mi Scuzi, but it looks like that is gone forever…
