Hagen History Center is negotiating to save a landmark Fairview home.
The 1870 Joshua C. Thornton House was auctioned in a state surplus sale in December 2024 on the condition that it be moved to a new location by mid-2026.
But the winning bidder did not follow through with the $5,100 purchase offer and the house is still on Fairview State Fish Hatchery property along West Lake Road…
