Former Erie Humane Society director Nicole Leone is scheduled to return to court next month in the embezzelement case involving the animal shelter.
Leone, 42, is scheduled for a plea hearing Jan. 16, according to her court docket updated Dec. 24. This would avoid a trial that was previously scheduled for Feb. 2.
