MARIENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities have released additional information regarding allegations that a prisoner at SCI Forest plotted with a fellow inmate to orchestrate a violent robbery and kidnapping against his mother and stepfather.
According to court documents, 28-year-old Keegan Gabriel Baker faces the following charges:
- Kidnap to Facilitate a Felony, Felony 1
- Robbery — Inflict Serious Bodily Injury, Felony 1
- Burglary — Overnight Accommodations; Person Present, Bodily Injury Crime, Felony 1
- Theft By Unlawful Taking — Movable Property, Felony 2
- Aggravated Assault — Attempts to Cause SBI or Causes Injury with Extreme Indifference, Felony 2
- Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
- Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the inmate at the prison reported that Baker asked him to help facilitate a robbery at his parents’ residence in Erie. The affidavit of probable cause states Baker believed his mother possessed $68,000 that belonged to him.
Police say Baker gave the inmate a sketch of the home and the address. The inmate allegedly told police that Baker targeted him because the inmate is black, and nobody would suspect Baker of being involved because he is a white supremacist, the complaint notes…
