Erie County will benefit from more than $2.1 million in state investments to fund roadway safety upgrades and housing services for domestic violence survivors, state Rep. Ryan Bizzarro announced today.
“These state investments will make our community safer and stronger,” said Bizzarro, who represents Fairview and Millcreek townships. “They will improve safety on our roadways and ensure survivors of domestic violence and their children have a place to turn.”
There will be $350,000 granted through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Emergency Solutions Grant for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and its 12 sub-recipients.
