Erie Co. to conduct first Comprehensive Housing Plan since 2008 thanks to grant money

Erie County is taking a closer look at housing needs across the region and received a grant to conduct a new study.

The Erie County Department of Planning and Community Development is taking on its first comprehensive housing plan since 2008, which will offer a data-based report of current and future housing needs across the county.

Erie County awarded $3 million for traffic signal upgrades

Department director Jessica Horan said, “The study represents an opportunity to take a comprehensive, coordinated approach to addressing affordability, availability and gaps in the housing ecosystem across our county.”
