Erie County’s outgoing county executive Brenton Davis has a big decision to make by Friday. He’s been offered the county manager position in Mohave County, Arizona.
The Board of Supervisors there voted to hire him yesterday. If he took the job, Davis would oversee the area which is about 90 miles south of Las Vegas. The job pays between $136,000 and $216,000.
Erie News Now talked with Davis, who said the Arizona position is one of a few options he is weighing across the nation. Davis was one of 24 candidates, narrowed down to 5 finalists. Finalists were interviewed last month before the holiday. The Mohave County manager is not an elected position…
