Man Charged in Jamestown Drug Bust

A Thursday morning drug bust on Jamestown’s west side led to the arrest of a city man. Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 12 East Hamilton Street shortly after 6:00 AM following several months of investigating narcotics activity. The Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Bryan Torres was seen leaving the residence before investigators arrived. He was stopped on West 5th Street and detained. Investigators seized 11.4 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material, and $2,327 in cash from the residence. Torres was charged with 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
