Nestlé Purina Gives Over $51,000 to United Way Campaign

A major north county employer has contributed $51,452 to the United Way of Chautauqua County’s 2025 campaign. UWCHQ Executive Director Amy Rohler and Community Relations Coordinator Dan Siracuse visited Nestlé Purina’s Dunkirk plant this week, joining leadership and staff to celebrate the milestone gift and recognize the company’s continued commitment to the community. According to UWCHQ, the contribution reflects both corporate support from Nestlé Purina, as well as the generosity of employees who pledged to give through payroll deductions.

Rohler says, “Purina employees consistently show up for this community. This past year they read to students during our annual Literacy Week and also volunteered their time during Day of Caring, which shows the depth of their commitment. That kind of hands-on engagement, paired with their workplace campaign, reflects a deep commitment to strengthening Chautauqua County and the people who call it home.”

Nestlé Purina has been a steadfast supporter of United Way in Northern Chautauqua County for many years, dating back well before the county’s two United Ways merged into a single, countywide organization.
